Мелатонин (N-ацетил-5-метокситриптамин) – основной гормон эпифиза, обладающий широким спектром биологических эффектов, таких как антиоксидантное, иммуномодулирующее, онкопротективное, антидепрессантное, противосудорожное, гипохолестеринемическое и гипогликемическое действия. В репродуктивной системе он способствует созреванию фолликулов, гаметогенезу, оплодотворению и имплантации эмбриона, защищая половые клетки и хориальную ткань от свободных радикалов. Систематизация имеющихся сведений позволит обосновать необходимость исследования биомаркера при дисфункции репродуктивной системы, в частности при вторичной функциональной олигоменорее.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article presents the results of research by foreign and domestic authors on the role of melatonin in women's reproductive health. Melatonin (N-acetyl-5-methoxytryptamine) is the main hormone of the pineal gland and has a wide range of biological effects, including antioxidant, immunomodulatory, cancer-protective, antidepressant, anticonvulsant, hypocholesterolemic, and hypoglycemic effects. In the reproductive system, it promotes follicular maturation, gametogenesis, fertilization, and embryo implantation, protecting reproductive cells and chorionic tissue from free radicals.
