Результаты исследований у взрослых продемонстрировали положительное влияние вакцинации против сезонного гриппа на заболеваемость, частоту госпитализаций и снижение риска неблагоприятного течения SARS-CoV-2 инфекции. Сложившаяся ситуация позволяет предположить подобное действие у детей.</p><sec><title>   Цель исследования</title><p>   Цель исследования: установить возможное влияние вакцинации против гриппа на заболеваемость и тяжесть течения COVID-19 у детей г. Волгограда.</p></sec><sec><title>   Материалы и методы</title><p>   Материалы и методы. Проведено сравнительное проспективное когортное исследование с участием 303 детей 3–17 лет без анамнеза хронических заболеваний с оценкой заболеваемости и тяжести течения новой коронавирусной инфекции COVID-19 в зависимости от наличия (235/303) или отсутствия (68/303) вакцинации против гриппа в текущем эпидемическом сезоне.</p></sec><sec><title>   Результаты</title><p>   Результаты. У всех детей с установленным диагнозом «Новая коронавирусная инфекция COVID-19» (диагноз, подтвержденный лабораторным исследованием – U07.1), вне зависимости от наличия или отсутствия вакцинации против гриппа отмечались симптомы легкого течения заболевания. Во всех возрастных группах частота возникновения заболевания и тяжесть течения новой коронавирусной инфекции COVID-19 среди вакцинированных против гриппа детей не имели достоверных различий с группой непривитых.</p></sec><sec><title>   Заключение</title><p>   Заключение. Результаты собственного исследования не подтвердили гипотезу о защитной роли вакцинации против сезонного гриппа на заболеваемость и тяжесть течения COVID-19 у детей без отклонений в состоянии здоровья. Требуются дальнейшие исследования для установления эффекта вакцинации против гриппа на течение COVID-19 у детей с хроническими заболеваниями.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>   The pandemic of a new coronavirus infection COVID-19 initiated research to find methods of non-specific influence on the immune system that can change the course of infectious diseases. Adult study results have been demonstrated the positive effect of seasonal influenza vaccination on morbidity, hospitalization rates, and reducing the severe forms of SARS-CoV-2 infection. That suggests a similar action in children.</p><sec><title>   The aim of the study</title><p>   The aim of the study: to establish the possible impact of influenza vaccination on the morbidity and severity of COVID-19 in children in Volgograd.</p></sec><sec><title>   Materials and methods</title><p>   Materials and methods. The 303 children 3-17 years old without a history of chronic diseases were included in comparative prospective cohort study on the impact of influenza vaccination (235/303) on morbidity and severity of a new coronavirus infection COVID-19 vs non-vaccinated group (68/303).</p></sec><sec><title>   Results</title><p>   Results. All children with new coronavirus infection COVID-19 (diagnosis confirmed by laboratory testing - U07.1) had mild symptoms of the disease. In all age groups, the morbidity and the severity of the new coronavirus infection COVID-19 among children vaccinated against influenza did not have significant differences with non-vaccinated group.</p></sec><sec><title>   Conclusion</title><p>   Conclusion. The results of our study did not support the hypothesis of a protective role of seasonal influenza vaccination on the morbidity and severity of COVID-19 in healthy children.
